Well first of all it was Friday afternoon when my two work colleagues and i decided to go for a meal where normally most place would be closed.
We decided to try the Al Mourjan Lebenese restaurant on the corniche. Its location is perfectly set alongside the sea with some impressive views of Doha's coastline.
The restaurant itself is very swish and the waiters are most helpful once you enter the premises.
The food was brought out to us within reasonable waiting time as we ordered a huge selection of appertisers to share. Then came the main course which included a seafood platter to share. The lobster was incredible and would recommend the seafood dishes anyday. The meat dishes were nothing special and seemed basic as far as Lebenese food goes. The chips were a little on the cold side too.
So i have never eaten so much food in all my life and all three of us were completely full and very satisfied with the qhality of service and food. Next came the bill which was 1167Qr which i thought was rather expensive. However we did have lobster and so many dishes between us including desert.
So in a nutshell the restaurant is a great place to impress a girl or your wife and i can imagine in the evenings it must be a cool place to have a meal. Just make sure you are prepared to pay for the quality.
