Working under Family Visit Visa

Hi I have moved to Doha in August 2014 and have family status under my contract with my Employer. My salary is well above the minimum 10k required for family sponsorship. My wife recently visited on Family Visit Visa for 5-6 days; and she will be again coming back on Family Visit Visa in the month of November to stay in Doha for long term. My question is, if my wife is coming under my sponsorship on family visit visa, what is the way in which she can work here in Qatar? We both are engineers and have substantial professional experience and we both are Indian citizens. Please advise.... Thank you

I want to know how it can be done legally? Will her employer give her separate business visa till she gets a resident permit?

Her job is already under finalization stages here... and she wants to start working immediately due to some financial commitments.... Isnt it possible for her to start immediately if she already has an offer?

Thank you Guys. By 'working under family visa' i mean working legitimately after necessary transfer of visa and all, only. Not working directly under family visit visa. She is under my sponsorship, however she can not be a resident till i complete 6 months here. So in order for her to start working immediately, her employer can issue a business visa to her for the time being? and after completion of 6 months she can apply for residence visa under my sponsorship and continue working for the same employer?

Well you wife is not supposed to work as long as she is under your sponsorship and has entered Qatar on a family visit visa. Visit visa is for visiting/meeting family or friends and its sure not for work. If she starts working under visit visa & gets caught by Labor ministry inspectors or CID, then they can impound fines on you or may even deport both of you out of Qatar. If she really wants to work, then she has to get a company sponsorship & get proper work visa & designation to work in her field. I suggest don't risk your wife to work under visit visa.
