its a lengthy process, which changes every year! one could lose ur cool trying to get this done. Ok I've just almost completed the process for my wife, so below r the requirements. (In short u could find a job in a company & let their PRO do the work for u like the guy above said!)

1 - u need to find a job!

2 - u also need an NBI clearance from Manila, also red ribboned & attested by ur Ministry of foreign affairs.

3 - an application for work permit duly filled by ur company PRO in arabic, with photo

4 - ur company PRO should make 3 letters addressed to Ministry of Labour, 2 in letter head, one on plain paper.

5 - ur educational certificate red-ribboned, attested by ur embassy, and translated has to be taken to Chamber of Commerce to attest the signature of the translation company and then to Ministry of Foreign Affairs near museum R/A. Same is case for ur NBI clearance which thankfully do not need to be translated but has to be attested by ur embassy.

6- u need 3 set of contracts from ur company

7 - NOC from ur sponsor (husband)

8- copy of ur passport & valid RP

9- copy of ur sponsor's passprt, ID & valid RP

10- ask ur company's PRO to take the above applications to Ministry of Labour and they'll give a letter to him addressed to the CEID requesting a Police Clearance Certificate for ur from Qatar cEID.

11- go to CEID in industrial Area, with copies of ur educational certificate & the letters from ur company & letter from Labour dept. dont worry they'll only take whats required.

12 - police clearance will take only a week, so go back to CEID and take the Police clearance.

13 - give this to ur PRO with all the above papers & he has to take the employment contracts (3 sets),get them attested in Labour dept and pay the fees - QR: 500 for one year permit, plus QR: 20 each for each contract.

14 - you get your labour ID in one day!

15- oh you also need about 4-5 pp photos!

if ur PRO is a lousy head, u'll have fun getting this done as the rules keep changing and its too difficult to get all the above get done.

GOOD LUCK, hope I was of some help!

Try to find out a job and then your employer PRO will do the necessary documents from the Labour Dept. Your husband needs to give a No Objection Letter to your employer so that they can get you a labour permit.
