What is the risk of working without a visa in Qatar?
By cheekylady •
Can someone tell me what is the risk of starting work (Qatari company) before my visa which entitles me to work is sorted out? It would only be a week or two, but I am just wondering how seriously this is taken in Qatar.
This is very serious.....U can be in jail and your company is also in deep trouble....a large amount of penalty will be imposed to you and the company your in....But if they are taking care or applying for your visa....just hope it gets approved coz if not....you'll be in great danger and great penalties to be paid and whats worst is you will be in jail if police caught you.....so take care...
Just follow up with your mandoop regarding the status of your visa and if they cannot transfer you, better look for another company who can sponsor you...

1.If you need medical assistance it will turn out that you are an outlaw here . Postponing to solve the health issues can turn fatal .
2 . Once you leave the country you can not come back ..so you are forced to stay here as long as possible if you think the job is worth ..
if you are working in a hidden place nothing will happen espacially if you stay away of problems. but if you were caught due a problem you did espacailly in resturents or front offices, the interior ppl will throw you out of the country with a band
you will go to police and go out of country
