Hi everyone. Just want to seek for your help regarding the transfer of my work visa. I am more than 2months (but less than 3months) working here in Doha, but i have no ID and contract yet. I am planning to resign and transfer to another company. I already talked to my Boss and he told me that he will give me NOC since it is the requirement when transferring to another company. My question now is, Is there a law regarding the transfer of work visa because i was being told by my friend that there is a certain law here in Doha regarding on that transfer of visa. Is it true that i cannot transfer my work visa to other company if i am less than 1year working in my present employer. Meaning i must be 1year and above working here before i can transfer? Is this so? Please help me confirm and advice what is the best thing to do with my situation.

Yes i didn't done yet the fingerprint, etc only the medical. That's why the company haven't apply me for the ID yet. Also, i have no contract yet. Meaning, all i have to do is to give the NOC to my new employer and they'll will be the one to process it? Thank you..

If u r still under the probation period and u hold only a temporary visa and u didn’t make the finger prints yet you have the right to get another job easily i heard before you can change here because the rules still can’t be applied on u because u r not a permanent resident now.
