I'm a Filipino. I'm currently working here in saudi arabia for 8 months now. I have this working visa. My wife is working in Qatar. I want to have my vacation with my wife in Qatar. My contract is 2 years and will end next year with no vacation unless with my own expenses. My iqama is engineer so with my working visa. Can i get Visa-on-arrival for GCC Residents? Should my wife still have to process for a visiting visa for me? If my wife take a visit visa for me what she must do? Is her salary is still invovles for applying visiting visa? Should I take a two way ticket? I really need your opinion so that I can prepare and discuss with my employer.

I can extend my visa for 90 days? great... I'm not really familiar with these visiting visa. If ever I arrive qatar, the visa given to me by my employer here in saudi arabia is the visa which I will present to the qatar immigration? Is my job appears on the visa? I have friend here telling me that if vacation purposes only your current job/position will not appear on the visa. Is that true? I'm confused because if this will not appear on my visa how shall I know.

Socrates, since your visa is an engineer and you are working in GCC country you can get visa upon arrival here in Qatar airport and it is valid up to 30 days and can be extended for a total of 90 days. enough for you to look for a job here and be reunited with your wife.

Since it is mentioned engineer, in this case you will get visa on arrival at doha international airport and yes you can arrange for a 2-way ticket from there depending on the number of days you want to stay not exceeding 30 days
