How to resolve Visa problem?

My Parents have reached Doha on 8th of August’12 on visiting visa, I extended for 2months on 3rd Sept’12 after completion of medical which will be finishing 8th of November. Recently I went to same Meisameer immigration counter to extend another three months but they said pay QR24000/- for last two months fine for parents. I surprised at their statement, I told them I paid already, now I have come to extend another three months, and they said system is not showing that you paid for last two months.

I am sure I paid but they forgot to enter in to system, I asked whether it is extended or not, they said it is finished, they gave two forms which are same copies that we got first when we applied for Visiting visa, they said it is new rule there would be no sticker to paste in the passport as they were doing before.

I took bank statement which shows deduction 400 + 400 on 3rd Sep’12 to prove them tomorrow,

Please advise me how to handle this?

I met Captain and explained but he is not accepting even though It is clearly mentioned in the Bank statement with name and counter.

please tell me about the ways that i can proceed?

Any body can go and meet him there in the first floor, when he is available. You need to go and check there in the first floor of main immigration to find out his availability.

If they have extended for 2 months, for sure they will paste a sticker on each of the passport and it will say the 2 months period mentioned. Nothing to be worried in this case. If nothing works, try to meet Mr. Al-Attiya in 1st floor main immigration near passport R/A. Never pay the fine they mentioned. Its some missunderstanding.

they gave me slip and visa copies, i misplaced slips thinking that i already paid,i brought my wife, my laws, for them also i did, there was no complaint so thought it also would be like that, that is why i neglected that slip. two Visa copies which they gave are just like initially issuing visas but font size and view is different.

You did not mention about the receipts which are the proof for extension. Where are they?

Really sorry for your miserable condition, but since u r in gulf so unforunately, u should always be ready for such kind of nightmares. I've following suggestions:

1. If you have receipt of Visa Renewal (Debit Receipt of you card) with time stamp, then you may take it with you.

2. I really don't understand why captain isn't accepting your bank statement showing clear transaction at their counter. I would suggest to take a Qatari guy with u and then let him speak to them. It would definitely make a difference as hell of discrimination is here in Qatar (sorry to say that but its ture).

Show them the visa extension receipt of each passport which ya got after the extension and ur job will be done..! Gone are the days when they used to put the extension sticker on the passport..Nowadays they issue ya a receipt of the visa extension and staple it with the passport.!

Did not they give you any receipt or at least your customer copy for card payment?
