Valid Qatari License but on Visitor Visa

Hi,

I was working in Qatar till last year and I am having a Driving License of Qatar from then which is still valid. I quit my job and went back to my country (so my Residence Permit got canceled).

This year I am in Qatar to visit my family on a Family Visitor Visa. Can I still drive in Qatar using my old (but still valid) Qatari driving license or do I need to apply for a new temporary driving license?

Any information in this regard would be highly appreciated.

Check with the traffic department directly then..

As far as i know, yes you can get the TEMPORARY DRIVING LICENSE for few weeks as you still hold a valid qatari DL..

Just take your PASSPORT copy to the traffic department..They will guide you better than us..

Hi Soniya, I had already visited the couple of links you mentioned. There is no information on the particular question that I have.

I already have a valid Qatari DL. Just that my Residence Permit is no longer valid and I am in Qatar on a visitor visa.
