UK visa processing time

I had submitted my visa application form on 11 October. I received an email from british embassy on 20 October that " This email is to notify you that your UK visa application is now being prepared for assessment by an Entry Clearance Officer". Can anyone please advise me that how long will it take to get my visa from the date of receiving tha email?

it usually doesn't take that long, unless the Embassy is busy with so many other applications as well to process. Perhaps by next 2-3 working days you would be able to receive a reply.
