Transfer of sponsorship from company to wife (working with same company)
Hi all,
I have a question regarding wife sponsorship. Me and my wife are working with the same company. We got married but we are still under our company's sponsorship. Under the company rules, they can only sponsor one (either the husband or the wife) but when we inquired about this issue, our employer said that they have no problem sponsoring both of us. Suppose I plan to apply/work with a new company and our employer won't give me an NOC, is it possible for me to resign, exit from Qatar to my country and then return to Qatar under my wife's sponsorship? If it's possible to return and find another job, would the other companies require an NOC from my previous employer though I am already under my wife's sponsorship or is my wife's NOC sufficient?
Your advice would really be of big help for us.

thanks to all who replied...i also have an officemate who sponsored his husband..but the difference with me is that I and my wife are in the same company and our company won't allow me to be sponsored by my wife...one of our options is for me to resign, return to my country then return to Qatar to find job...however, i'm not sure if
1) I would be allowed to enter Qatar again
2) If other companies will hire me using the NOC from my wife of if they will still require an NOC from my previous employer
Wife can sponsor her husband as long as she meet all the criteria needed for sponsorship. I myself is being sponsored by my wife here.
there is no absolute law here in Qatar that allows woman particularly wife to sponsor anyone.. it's only man or husband who has the right..
It is difficult to sponsor a husband under wife sponsorship there is a criteria the wife should be having a managerial/higher position and having a good salary or working in a government institution, it should be easy if the husband is the one sponsoring their wife.
