Once you are done with medical nd got the result, you will have to fill in the application online (or some will do it for you, It will be in Arabic: www.moi.gov.qa) take the copy and directly go to finger printing department. For filling the form you need to know your Visa number and sponsors ID.

Once your finger printing is done, the sponsor, PRO/ Mandoop will take care of stamping visa n ur PP and getting an ID for you.

I arrived in 2006. When I applied for my ID card the machine was broken. I tried a few times but it was still broken then I forgot all about it. 3 years on, I had to renew my RP and got, for the first time, an ID card! No penalty, as long as you have your RP and Passport in order I think you will be ok. JJ

No penalty....if you have RP then theres nothing to worry, and there's no such application for ID, your company PRO can collect it from the immigration office once ready.
