Spouse Visa
I am arriving into Qatar on 1 November with my wife - i will immediately submit my residency permit application but i understand that i cannot submit my spouse residency permit application until after i have received my own (4-6 weeks).
Can my wife remain with me in the country during this time? She is a US citizen and I am Irish.
I believe she can. She can receive on arrival tourist / business visa which can be extended up to three months (on monthly basis) and in the mean time you can set-up your bank account and prepare other paper work to bring her on family visit visa which you can covert after having six months bank statement.
