Hi All,

While I know there are many experiences and threads available at QL, I'd like to share my own experience (recent) with Sponsorship Transfer Procedure.

Now just praying to get CEID clearance so as to move to next step. what's before is mentioned below:

Local non-Qatari candidates Procedure (sponsorship transfer):

1. Medical
- Your new company will provide letter addressed to medical commission
- Take one colored photograph, original Passport & Qatar ID Card and ATM Card for payment with you
- File an application, with Company Letter & Your Passport Copy/ID copy attached;
= Mention clearly at Registration Desk that its Medical for sponsorship transfer / Employment purpose.
- Go through the test procedure

- It take 2-3 days to get the Medical Test Results (window 64)

2. Educational Certificates
- To be attested by Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Candidate's country of origin. (to be attested by University, Higher Education Councils etc. first)
- To be attested by Qatar Embassy in Candidate's country of origin.

(time depends on candidate's country specific situation.)

- Get Arabic Translation of Degree from an Approved Translation Centre in Doha
- Get Qatar Chamber of Commerce Attestation for Arabic Translation
- Get Qatar Monistry of Foriegn Affairs Attestation for Arabic Translation. (You'll need to represent original attested documents first)

(It should take one day for whole process.)

3. CEID Clearance

Your new Company will provide letter address to CEID

Pre-Requisits:
1::PCC (police clearance certificate) / Certificate of Good Conduct from Candidate's country of origin.
can be obtained from homecountry (4-6 weeks process) OR can be requested from candidates home country's embassy in Qatar.
for embassy in Doha,
take 2x photographs, 2x personal references, passport & id copies.. it should take 1-2 days

2:: NOC from Current Employer / Application of Sponsorship change to MoI

Process:
- Visit CEID - "New Office" (Salwa Road, After Crossing Industrial Area Bridge, after 300meters, at the Right Exit you'll notice a White Color Building)- after JAIL boundary walls

- Provide Letter from your new Company
- Provide Passport, RP, ID card copies
- Provide PCC
- Provide NOC from current employer & its ID
- Provide Attested Educational Certificate copy

Fill Form, Pay 10 QR(ATM), Get Receipt

That's it Your New Company Representative (Mandoub) will further follow up with CEID for your clearance.

I just delivered my new company, the receipt from CEID, Original Medical Test Results, Original Degree (attested) with Translation and Original NOC/Request letter to MOI for Transfer of Sponsorship and I'm done from my part.

Now i have to wait for next 2-3 weeks for response from my new company, If lucky InshaALLAH will receive approval for Transfership. btw my target job title belongs to technical management fields.

cheers & good luck to all

you see to be a Pro in govt. related affairs.

could you share your experience and relevant information regarding what's the next process after CEID clearance, how much time it would take to transfer sponsorship from immigration. does your passport work visa and ID need to be revised as well .. and what about profession etc.

appreciate any insights and experiences,

cheers

ntasa...for CEID you need a Character Certificate from Your Embassy, further attested by Qatar Foreign Office and then submit it alongwith Passport Copy & a Photograph with a filled up form which can be obtained either from the CEID or any Typing Services Centre. They normally take 10 working days (2 Weeks). After two weeks, the PRO/Mandoob of your new employer would go & collect the Clearance Certicficate and then apply for the transfer of your visa in the Immigration...which may be done on the same day.

gildine23... You would always need an NOC from the sponsor once the visa is stamped on the passport. Without NOC, you cant come back to Qatar for two years.

what if you became terminated by your employer/company after being employed for less than a year only then, fortunately there are jobs waitinh ahead of you from othe other company here in qatar, what will be the procedures for this new case?does he needs to ask for an NOC from his previous employer and sponsorship tranfer?

what if the employee will exit first to his country of origin after the termination then, he/she wants to go back here in qatar?

thank you so much to anyone who will answer these queries.

Thanks for sharing your experience with us...I hope it would be of a great help to many. I think the Medical Test part is a new addition to the procedures as I didn't go through it while transferring my sponsorship.
