Police Clearance Certificate

Hello, I am an immigration attorney in the United States. I have a client who is a citizen of the Philippines, where she is currently residing. She previously resided in Qatar (for about two years) and is now attempting to obtain a fiance visa here in the United States but cannot do so without a police clearance certificate from Qatar. Per her fiance, she applied for the certificate 60 days ago at the embassy of Qatar in the Philippines and still has not received anything from them. She was told she would have it back in 30 days which sounds about right given it only takes a week if she does it in person in Qatar. Does anyone have any suggestions or know of any firms in Qatar that could process her request for a police clearance record?

She can do it with any friend who is in Qatar. She has to just submit her old Qatar ID/Qatar Visa pages/Fill up & sign a form (which can be downloaded) also an authorization letter to the friend (with their Qatar ID) to represent on her behalf from the Ministry of Interior website. Send it by Post/Courier to her friends in Qatar. The MOI office which is in Salwa Road (where they do Finger prints for families). The fee is Qatar Rials 10/- only. Within a week they can collect the PCC and send it to her. Firms & agents will charge more.
