Good day!!!

I would like to ask what will happen to my wife & son Visa (under my sponsorship) if they overstayed outside qatar for more than 1 year with still a valid RP.

They exit Qatar last Dec. 17, 2009 and we plan them to return here in Qatar this coming Jan. 6, 2011 along with me right after my vacation. Can anobody give me an advice what to do and what would be the best step to apply for their re-entry.

Thanks and I hope somebody can help me...
I really need your opinions and advice badly...

There is no time limit to stay here before traveling, but as their RP is going to be expired so as soon as they entered into the country you have to apply for their RP renewal.

Once they got their RP renewed, they may travel any time.

Ghazalz Thank you so much for your reply. It is really helpfull and not stressfull reading.

I have another question.

Is there any rules on how long my wife and son needed to stay here in Qatar before returning to our home country?

Because I plan to have them back here on Dec. 15 and return again to our home country by Dec. 24. Is this ok?

Thanks again and I hope you could give an advice.

Sure, as they have a valid RP...They could enter here before 17 of this month but you have to clear up a fine of Qr.500/- each before hand for exceeding six months outside Qatar.

Ones it appears on computers, they will be allowed to enter Qatar without problems ISA.

hello friend, since your wife and son got valid RP in their passports, they can re-enter in Qatar provided you obtain a extension permit from the immigration authority.the charges are 500 QAR per person.the department is located outside Doha intl Airport near the mosque(you may have to fill up a form explaining the reason for their overstay).

good luck.

kindly post your experience,so others will be benefitted.

Since their RPs were canceled after six months out of Qatar you will have to start over.
