if you have relatives working in the govt agency, red ribbon would only take 2 to 3 weeks, like what my brother do, he just send the original docs to my sister

who is working in COA.

ptochai15, They will not put stamp or authentication on your original diploma. After you submit it to CHED or TESDA they will just made a Certified True Copy of it and again they will forward it to the DFA for the Red Ribbon Process.

PRESENT the original documents. Maybe you just show the certified true copies only. The best prrof that it is certified true copy is to PRESENT the original. But definitely, don't leave your original documents to anybody or any office! Just present it!

Flor that is what i have authenticated TOR and diploma with qatar foreign affairs stamped, but then i was informed that i have to translate my school diploma into arabic which i finished already (with stamp from the chamber of commerce) so i went back again to QFA but it was rejected as they need the original diploma in red ribbon

what is being authenticated are "certified-true copies" of documents. These are "copied" original documents with original signature/stamped of issuing authorities. Means these documents came from the issuing authorities. Example of which is certified true copy of TOR issued by the school itself and not photocopied outside (wherein the signature/stamped of school is also photocopied). Did I make myself understandable?

we really dont have an idea that the original school diploma is needed (red ribbon) i thought just a certified true copy + red ribbon is enough, but i was able to get a stamp from qatar foreign affairs for this certified true copy yesterday.. just this morning i went ot chamber of commerce to have my diploma translated and went back again to qatar foreign affairs in female section she didnt accept it. it is really pain applying for a work permit =(

to eradicate fake documents. Of course the inconvenience brought about it was tremendous, but what to do yanni? It's a requirement for getting a job. Unless you're looking for one but don't want to be employed! Lol!

ALL YOUR DOCUMENTS SHOULD BE RED RIBBON. BIRTH CERT., MARRIAGE CERT., TRANSCRIPT OF RECORDS.. QATAR GOV'T IS VERY STRICT NOW.. AFTER U THE RED RIBBON, GO TO YOUR EMBASSY AND HAVE IT STAMP/ATTESTATION BEFORE GOING TO MOFA.
