I exit Qatar with no NOC from my employer. All i have was the employment cert and Visa Cancelled. It will be 2 years this coming November. I have friends and relatives flown to Qatar and I was encourage to go back to Qatar to work again. I wanna be sure if the banned is still 2 years and not 3, 4 or 5 years (rumors)

So guys, if you have information please let me now.

usually it is 2 years ban if it is without NOC but if you had any criminal case in qatar and got expelled from here then you cannot enter the country before 5 years

it is a 2 yaert ban. WE had all hope that this ridiculous rule which exposes Qatar to international condemnation would be changed but no! It is obviously unfair that those who spend a lot of mmoney on recruiting someone, agency fees, airfares, setting up costs etc. would be penalised if a worker new to Qatar decided to change employment for a bigger salary within a short time of arriving here. So a law was inroduced giving no ability to someone to change sponsor whatever the circumstances! Natural justice is not a big player in this matter. In your case if you are not highly placed in your sponsors firm with industrial and commercial secrets in your grasp to undermine the previous sponsor's business there should be no reason why sponsorship should not be changes. Enquire at Human Rights Committee for advice, they have helped many people to achieve what common sense says should be available by right. Good luck!

general ban is 2 years for those who were not able to furnish noc from previous employer, this is based from what I learned from the others, we may just to give way to those experts here to confirm, I would love to hear about it too. ;)
