MOI -VISA EXTENSION

Dear QL Friends-
Would like to know from you all that,-I went to MOI today morning to extend my spouse visa for next few months – all is well they have extended with a good manner and good attitude-
My spouse came on August 15 2012 and today is September 02 2012 – they have extended till February 06TH 2013-
Now my Question is – Why they have given till 06Th February without giving till 09TH February 2013- And incase if I keep her till 08TH February is there will be any problem – (Even though it’s not crossing 6 Months –Its only 5 Months 29 Days)
Please advise -

Feb 6th according to immigration is the last day of stay for your spouse in Qatar. But you just take another extension form and go just before a week to extend the visa. The captain might give you another extension for a week (7 days) or 15 days or sometimes even a month. If he approves then you can stay till the new extension date. If you are unable to get extension, then they will charge Qr.200 per day of stay in Qatar. Note: For extension, when u meet the captain he will ask you to bring the ticket for your wife on the date mentioned by him. so take the form, passport and meet him. He will ask for ticket, Then you can bring a ticket on the date mentioned by him the next day and get the visa extended. good luck

Even after 6 months you can extend it for another 1 more month by paying QR. 200. But in case if you are not renewing it further, you will have to leave on that mentioned date itself. If not QR. 200/- per day fine will be charged.
they will consider 30 days as one month.
