Medical formalities

I am going to join qatar from india as an electrical engineer. My sponsor didnot ask for medical from india. is it required to obtain medical certificate from here. Or it can be done at qatar after reaching there? what are the formalities and tests will be conducted?

It's not really necessary because you will have your medical examination here as required by the government once your company will process your papers.But for your own safety or if you have doubts about your health you can also have in your place for your self assurance

medical check ups are done at Medical Commision in Qatar. Its safe and wise to get yourself checked completely in your native country before flying to be sure just in case. There are certain doctors or clinics which are approved by Qatar Health Ministry but even then those cannot help in case you are detected by some problem during check up at the Qatar Medical Commision.

Now, medical from India is not necessary. But, you have to go through medical check ups from here. X-Ray, Blood testing for various purposes are the main.

You dont need a medical examination done in india unless its required by your your company as their internal procedure.

Medical examination will be done here in Qatar once you land. This consist of an X ray and blood test.
