Latest Medical Test Requirements

I just recently join this site as i found it very helpful and informative.
I have some worries about getting Res.VISA in Qatar. I know that its very strict there esp.when it comes to health. I have an offer in one of the 5star hotel to work in the office. I am a positive hepa B but healthy carrier, I have my doctor's certificate that i am fit to work. May I ask if in blood testing, is hepa b included in obtaining Residence VISA to work in the office field? Need an opinion to accept the offer.

isab..if it wont cost u much and if you want to make it a try then go gurl.. hu knows.. in my case i had my medical after 10 weeks..so still u can earn 2 months salary if they will send you back home..

It is so confusing and impossible to understand whether Hep B carriers are allowed to work in qatar or not in industried other then mentioned above. is it that the sponsor will decide that hep B carriers can work or is it the govt decides that you are unfit. Apple please clarify this once for all

For Work Visa You have to pass Hepatitis B/c,HIV,X-Ray for TB at any cost.No Second opinion
But suppose someone with Work visa apply for family with Hepatitis b/c Positive but that family member will remain at home,then they might be granted RP
But for Work Visa,U have to pass All Medical Test.Full Stop
They test everything ma friend and for hotel workers there is clinical check up as well. I am sorry to say that u wont pass if u have Hepa B.
Appreciate your comments about my query...just really so confused as others says i will be rejected because of that..others says its only tested for food handlers and medical works.....need a concrete answer please....Ms. Apple for sure could give me an answer...
Please do not take the risk of coming and getting rejected. The tests include hep b/c, HIV and x-rays.
There is no such thing as "Healthy Carrier of Hepa", don't take the risks definitely they will send you back.
a complete test is done. every single thing is tested, like we say a complete MEDICAL CHECKUP.
let me tell you one thing. my colleague did medical test in phil and was declared fit by doctors there. but when his medical test was done here it showed MEDICALLY UNFIT and he had to go out.
so please be careful on that
Thanks for the comment..is the medical test as u said a complete check up applicable to all kinds of work? As I've read from the old forum, blood test for hiv, hepa b&c and x-ray are the tests for food handlers and medical related jobs. Just wondering if its true and still practicing until now?

dont come to qatar plz cuz there are already alot of pilipinos here..
The test is only for HIV but I bekieve that there is a questionaire concerning other conditions.
blood test is separate and medical test is separate. blood test is for your blood group. medical test (complete checkup including x-ray) is done separately. by chance you are declared unfit after the result then sorry but you have to go back.
