My salary is above 15t, i've accommodation and car provided by company. My husband is here as well, but can't sponsor because his salary didn't meet the requirement. Can anyone please help me what to do?

@ Eddie_H - Thank u. U have given me hope on this. Just this morning, We (with our PRO) went there, and he gets me an appointment. But tomorrow morning, he wants me to go back there to check why it was rejected. I don't know if it is a right move for me to go tomorrow morning to inquire with the rejection or just wait until my appointment date comes? Thanks...BTW, r u Filipino as well?

Hi Gerella

I was in exactly the same situation 18months ago as I earn considerably more than my husband and also sponsor him, the Visa for my kids aged 12 & 6 was refused initially. HR at my work arranged an appointment at the Labour Dept, I went and just had to explain in person that I was able to financially support my children, and within 3 days the Visa's were approved. I know I panicked when they were rejected as I didn't know what to do.... but it was all ok and pretty painless in the end...... the guys at the labour dept were helpful & friendly.

Good luck...... sure it will be ok

5) Once your kids are here. submit the same documents in labour dept again at MOI.

6) MOI at labour dept will issue new visa no for your kids to get RP - charges Qr.700

7) Go to Gharafa MOI to apply for RP. At MOI premises you will find typing centre. there ask family visa application. Type the application in arabic, attach your kids photo & mention the RP required period 1 or 2 yrs.

8) Submit the application, along with new visa number at block 2. Your kids RP will be issued immediately.

9) Visit Gharafa MOI morning.

To get Kid's Residence Visa - your's husband need to be a sponsor and not you. If his salary is 4000 then he can sponsor, by submitting additional documents. Please follow the below

1) Collect the Residence visa application form from labour dept (near American Hospital - C ring road timing 7 - 2pm)

2) type the application in arabic.

3) submit the application along with your Husband Sponsor NOC(Company PRO can help him), RP Copy of your Husband, 6 Months Bank statement, child passport copy

4) Along with supporting documents i.e your RP copy, your Salary Certificate, your sponsor NOC.

Note: This substantiates the need of providing a visit visa which is extendable upto 6 months.Submit the documents in labour department for getting visit visa for your kid upto 6 months.

5) once your kid is here then at the labour dept itself, again provide the same documents for converting Visit to Permanent. in labour dept you will find MOI. there you need to submit the docs for getting New Visa no for RP. Once you get the new visa number charges around Qr 700

6) Go to Gharrafa MOI for applying RP at block #2 for family. In Gharrafa MOI premises you will find typing centre, there ask for family visa application & give the details to enter the application along with your kid's photo - charges is Qr 5. In application you need to mention the period of RP required - 1 or 2 yrs.

7) submit the family visa application, along with new visa number in block 2. You will be issued RP immediately.

Guys, thanks for the replies...

But how can my husband sponsor my kids, if he's salary is below 5t? I am the one who brought them (husband and kids) here. My husband got a work but not enough to sponsor my kids.

Hi..

I have also faced the same situation for my baby who born here in Qatar. As my husband is here, the authorities said he should be the sponsor of the baby. Your husband can be the sponsor of your kids if his designation is not 'AMAL'. All the other professions, they are providing the visa. Only thing, from your husband's company, he should get an NOC saying that no objection to sponsor the kids.

Goto the Garaffa office for getting it to be done.

Hopefully everything will be alright. Wishng you the very best.

my be some technical error while screening, please visit them personally, it will not be a problem, they should give visa for kids. again this is my opinion.

Since your husband is here, he can only sponsor your kids, to get this done, your husband need to get an NOC from his employee and apply jointly for the visa, then it will be alright.

any possible help, pm me or call me!
