Is it possible to get my sister-in-law on a maid visa?

I've been told the Labor Department frowns on this, but I'd like to know if anyone else has had some success with it.  Seeing as I'll be sponsoring her and she is from Vietnam, I'm wondering if they'll even notice when I submit the paperwork.  The ultimate goal is to get her here and keep her here.  My wife is in her third trimester and we have a one year old.  She's not comfortable hiring outside help so we need her sister to come out for an extended period of time.  Any insight from the Qatar Living community is greatly appreciated.  I should also add that she's in her mid twenties and not married.  Thanks again.

I should have stated that more clearly.  I am from the U.S.  I'm wondering if the Labor Dept. will even bother to check that she's related to my wife from Vietnam.

Hi , this is the main reason that the country does not allow sponsoring domestic help of the same nationality.because people try to get their relatives here as maids. It will be difficult for you to sponsor her as your maid, the labour dept will not accept it. Someone else will have to sponsor her, if he/ she can get a visa for your nationality. As nishat suggested, she can come here on visit visa, buts that's short term only.
