I have signed my employment letter already last may 1. then the HR told me i have to call him on monday, which is today for confirmation. I called him and he told me their manager has not yet arrive from lebanon. he told me he will call me tomorrow AGAIN. I was wondering if, how many days, really, will you wait for you to start at your job after signing the offer letter? i got confused because i started turning down some companys who also offered me a job bec. I already decided to work to their company. Now, days are running, and I'm still here waiting for his call. Pls. help.

talk to the HR manager, ask for the appointment, go to his place and speak to him.

tel him abt ur situation.

also check for the contact number or email id of the manager who is in lebonon, call him and also mail him with the scanned copy of ur offer letter.

am sure somthing will turn up for u

all the best

i assumr in their letter they should mention the resume day, and depend on this either the manager signed the offer or no, you should start your work in same day, and your payroll should start to be caluclated as well, there is no specific days for resuming, this is nothing to do with Qatar Labour Law.

try to keep call the HR through mails and the phone calls and see what their Answer will be.
