Hi

I'm on the same boat as well, my work visa was applied 4 weeks back, and the employer has informed me that I they have received the initial approval and they are expecting the work visa in the following days. So just hold on to your hopes.

Cheers

I dont think visa application would be a problem for them since the Telcom company is owned by the government. except it is the vodafone the you have been accepted. they are pretty new here. good luck

As you have said youve lost your patience? thats really good loosing patience can help you a lot, just want to brief you a little regarding applying a working visa here is not that easy it will take time they apply first for the approval of it if theres no available visa of your company for me it takes six months to have my working visa but it depends upon your company sometimes its only 3 days to have a visa so keep on praying.Goodluck

they don't apply for your Residence Permit yet. They apply for your Work Visa. If the Company doens't have a quota for your nationality, they have to apply for this quota approval first. When (and big IF!!) they got it, they may apply for your Work Visa. Take into consideartion that it was Eid holiday, and all government offices were shut for about couple of weeks, and now they are overloaded with work.
