Family Visit Visa after Business Visa

Hi,

My wife was in doha from June 1st week to July 1st week on a business visa as a conultant to a school in Doha.She exited the country on 4th July,2014

I am now planning to apply for a family visit visa (not RP as i do not have 6 months bank statement).I Have all the required documentation ready. I have heard that once someone exits the country they cannot return for 3 months in case of visit visas.

In case if i apply for my wife's visit visa will it be rejected citing grounds that she had exited last month? (though on a business visa)

Hi Aroon,

I have friends who were on business visas working in Qatar up-to 3 months, returning to India for a short period (like 2-3 weeks) and entering with a new business visa.

I believe you can bring your spouse, the 3 month hold is only for expired visit visas sponsored by a family member (spouse/ father etc).
