1) educational certificates attested, my marriage certificate is attested by Saudi embassy and Ministry of External affairs (You will require Indian Embassy & MOFA, which you can do it your self in Qatar itself)............................... 2) My Kids birth certificate is not attested (100% required complete attestation required, you can it done by Sheen Services WLL).............. 3) Attesting all the birth certificates will be a tedious task when I'm based in Qatar and there is only kids and wife back home. (By courier they can send it you to Doha or directly to Sheen Services office in India.

I appreciate the responses given by you all. I have my educational certificates attested, my marriage certificate is attested by Saudi embassy and Ministry of External affairs as I was residing in Saudi Arabia from 1999-2005. My Kids birth certificate is not attested but is it really required to attest them as their passports has my name. Attesting all the birth certificates will be a tedious task when I'm based in Qatar and there is only kids and wife back home.

Mr.nadz75, as in the previous comment, u cannot proceed for family visa unless ur Qatar ID is in hand. But to stop in delaying for applying the family visa, u need the certificates to be attested in India as well in Qatar. It will be better to follow those steps well in advance to avoid further delay. U have to attest your Education Certificate (only Main one is enough ie your final qualified certificate), your marriage certificate and if you have child, then u have to attest your child's birth certificate. Please follow with some of the consultants' in India to attest your certificates or the consultant's in Qatar also. As u have asked u can proceed further after your certificates get attested by typing the application form for family visa. You can contact the typing shops where they can guide you with required copies to be attached along with the application form. But my advise is that, if your company's mandoop is there, then its better to go through them, as there is a lot of chance for the visa to be rejected while going in personal. Once rejected, u have to wait for one month for getting appointment from the captain. If u need further advise, mail to lakshmisekar05@gmail. com. Whatever is known, I can guide you.

The answer of the first comment is correct. just wait for your I.D.

You can process your family visa on your own.

You can get the list of requirements at the Ministry of Immigration.

It will take min of 1 week and max of 3 weeks for the result from the date of submission of documents.

I advice you to not to book tickets unless you get the visa of your family because there is a chance of rejecting your application and the ministry is not obliged to refund your ticket.
