Expiry of Family Visa
Dear Guys,
Till now as per my understanding if a qatar visa holder stays more than 6 months abroad, his/her visa will expire because of this stay. Now I heared that this 6 months period has been extended to 1 year. If any body have any idea/confirmed information in subject please give clarification.

It is confirmed that a family member can stay up to 1 year outside Doha. I've been to Immigration last Thursday. they are now issuing a return permit valid for 14 days. Ideally, you can request for it 1 week prior to your family's travel back to Doha.
You can apply for this return permit in Immigration (Gharafa) - Building #3 - Second floor
qatar law is can not stay more than 6 months out side qatar.but now if any body want to stay more than 6 months.he have to pay 500 qatar riyal and than he give you more 6 monts.take care..best of luch
still 6 months but they allowing to extend another month...gudluck!
As far as I know, the visit visa still is good for only 6 months.
