Education in Canada

Hi every one !

I am working as a consultant for education in hospitality and management area. I wish to promote the program based in Canada. The program will work as a student visa for the first 8 months and then can be changed to Work permit without leaving Canada.

I have the valid contract with the Canadian counter part and wish to take up professionals and students from Qatar  who has good knowledge in English and relevant experience.

I do not wish to take up any service charge or fee from students / professionals from Qatar . But I do understand I need to submit the application in UAE.

The main hassel is I am entering in Canada on a business visit.. Can I really work for the promotion ? Please advice... Thanks a million in advance

marycatherine, I think they are aware of it.  A lot of people are getting rejected nowadays from what I hear.

The Canadian government is currently rescinding the passports of 2000 of  those "plastic Canadians"and I imagine there are more in the works.

Nonmerci - what does this mean?

"hmmm yes QS...and then they are (some) fully equipped to manufacture devices to harm the West. And of course, they were "sponsored" by those well meaning people who then "gently" guide them into mentioned activities. ah well!"

What devices do you refer to?

Mentioned activities?

Perhaps you should contact DFAIT and inform them of these devices and activities.

Death note, I am just commenting on a thread...there is no deep interest there from my side anyway. And of course, I cherish my Vatican passport! :) Furthermore...it is common knowlege, proven  more often that not, that some who pursue an education in the West later on use this education to harm the West. The "plastic Canadians" are another case though. Now, are you going to answer my question with a simple yes or no, or are you going to continue to insult me and beat around the bush?

Death note, and what has that to do with "Plastic Canadians? I can't see the connection, sorry. Now, do those so called "Plastic Canadians" exist in your opinion, or are you calling me a liar? Yes or no will suffice.

Donald, you are wrong. I am talking about all those "plastic Canadians" who seek a Canadian passport to pursue life elsewhere.

nomerci is insinuating an insult to those people who posted in this thread who wishes to seek an opportunity in Canada....

Correct me if I am wrong Nomerci....

You cannot work in Canada without a valid work visa - a business visa is not the same.

Contact the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade for more information.

Nonmerci - what are you talking about?

Lol nomerci.. :)

but actually anyone can go and study at any country in the world, what's new about it? Just keep paying (in Canada) about $20,000 per year, as a foreign student, plus show your bank account and prove that you can support yourself during the entire educational term, meaning that you can pay for your accommodation, food, educational materials and much more..Please keep in mind that you won't be allowed to work during this time, as your visa will be a Student visa (not the Work permit!).. And yallah, why not? Again, you can study at any country, upon your choice, as long as you can pay.. Why Canada?
