Dual RP
Guys,
I am back again with the same question related to dual RP business.
Could you please asdvise and confirm any literature or supporting documents in web or similar which says that I can get a Qatar RP by paying an additional fee of QR 1500-2000 if you have RP in another GCC country.
My PRO is reluctant to go through with the process until he sees a strong evidence to prove. My RP is getting delayed due to this and I need to keep my UAE RP as well as my wife would like to travel to UAE on regular business trips.
Your earliest response on this will be highly appreciated. Please treat this as a matter of urgency and responsd. Ta.

Hello,
I have the valid UAE residence permit and yesterday i got the qatar RP stamped.
The whole thing depend on your PRO how sharp is your PRO and how he handle the situation. We reach at the immigartion dept at 10AM and take the token and wait for our turn.
On our turn the PRO went to the immigartion GUY and i dont know what he talked to him and what he did there...after 15 min he was back with my ID card and Qatar RP Stamped on my Passport.
Other important thing is that dont tell the immgartion people that you have othe GCC residency. until they see on your Passport by themself just try to avoid the situation and the PRO is the most important guy in this it on you how you keep your PRO happy.
Best of Luck
I have dual UAE and Qatar residences. Just go through the procedure as you normally do to get your Qatar residency. The last stage where you have to pay for the fee and glue the stamp on your passport, they will ask if you want to keep dual residency. If you do, then there will be an additional 2,000 QAR. I believe this expense is not the company's responsibility.
For your spouse/children, you will do the same.
Good Luck
Yeah. its possible. I had got Qatar RP while my RP for KSA was still valid.
In the moi.gov.qa its showing the fee for dual RP is Qr 2000.
So it is possible. I am sorry I dont know the procedures.
"Allowing residence permit in Qatar along with a residence permit in any one of the GCC countries (Dual residence permit). QR 500 QR per year for students.
QR 2000 per year for organizations and companies. "

Yes, you can have the Dual RP in Qatar. This morning I send one of our employee to Bahrain on resident visa with Qatar valid RP and when we check the Qatar Authorities they said we can keep the Qatar RP and he can obtain second RP from Bahrain. Bur he must come back with in 6 months in Qatar.
as far as i know its impossible.
