Under the New Labor Code published and imposed sometimes in April 2009. "Women who are under husbands sponsorship can still continue to work with other company". Meaning, it's not illegal... (source: The Peninsula)Or to make it sure, you can open the Hukoomi Website, labor laws are clearly indicated there.

I dont think it is illegal. But double check with your HR or your company's Immigration Officer. They should know about its legality procedures.

thifanny_16, you have to verify to your husband if your visa is valid if you work. I have a friend under her husband sponsorship who is working in Q-Chem with no problem. To have peace of mind and to make sure, ask your PRO or go to immigration and tell them the situation.

Well, if you are being caught for any illegalities against the Law of the State... possible consequences are deportation, some fines/penalties and/or spending a couple of days in a 5* room. It could depends though.
