That is good that it is allowed to bring your parents in Qatar.
What are the chances % to extend the one month visa into 6 month after arrival in qatar.
Is there any specific criteria to have 6 month extention ???
Can someone refer me the site from where I can get all this information

Well, it seems that people think it's difficult to get visa for parents if you're Pakistani or Indian, but this is quite subjective. I got visa for my mother at a first go.

A lot depends on your job status, salary and the reputation of your sponsor. If you have a decent/high salary and your sponsor is a reputed company/ organization, then there's no problem.

There have also been cases where applications rejected once have been approved on second or third attempt.

I'd suggest that you get all the necessary documents for the application and go to the immigration with a positive attitude.

All the best!

1.You will need a letter from your employer saying that they don’t have objection in you bringing your parents.

2. They should be less than 60 yrs of age...if more….your application might get rejected by the immigration Dept.

3. If approved, you will get one month Visa, they need to do medical test upon arrival, If Medically fit, Visa can be extended for another 5 months.
