Can I keep my family for 3 weeks to complete school after cancelled my (all) RPs...

Some one said "you can keep them and pay QAR 10/day until your departure"....is it valid statement or not.

Some one said "You have to leave the country within 7 days"
Any lawyer/Manthoop/HR can help me on this points.....
Please clarify.....

Normal RP expiry...you can stay upto 3 months. But in case of cancellation, only 7 days are allowed.

maybe that depends to your sponsor/company to give you an extension period for the children's sake. the penalty will be 10 riyals for persons with working visa, and for family visa is 5 riyals(not really sure). you can visit the immigration department to personally ask for extension and other inquiries. goodluck

Some says that as per new QATAR LAW, a person staying after cancellation of RP should have to pay QR 30 (some says QR10)per day..One can stay for only 7 days after the cancellation of RP..Some even says that as per immigration law one can stay up to 3 months after cancellation without penalty...Not sure..

So better confirm it with your company's PRO..
