Bank statement for family visa
Hi
I am working for an Indian IT firm in Doha. I am planning to apply for family visa. Is it mandatory to furnish 6 month's bank statement for obtaining family visa? I ask since I have been here only for 3 months. If it is mandatory, is there any work around - like company HR salary letter etc?
Many thanks in advance for clarifications.
Regards.
Hisumesh,
For permenant visa 6 months is required as per rule. But if you have all other documents in perfection, 3 months also will work as I have done it without any hazzle.Try your luck, if it is rejecting only for that reason, apply family visit and you can bring family for 6 months and within that period apply again for permenant visa after collecting 6 months statement and you cam transfer to permenant RP by without exiting from qatar. You need to pay QR 500/- for that.
Hi Hurraim3 - did you get family visa for your mother? It was my understanding that you do not get family visa for anyone other than your spouse and children. For others you need to obtain family visit visa. Can you please confirm if you got family visa for your mother?
Hi All
Thanks for your inputs.
I am applying for permanent family visa and my salary is more than 15K.
Hisumesh: If you are applying for a permanent visa for your family, then to my knowledge a six-months bank statement is required. However, for a visit visa the rules are different and what Hurraim 3 has stated may be correct.
yes , its true that there are no side roads.
i got visa for my mother last month. Alhamdulillah she is now here with us. no bank statment was asked. i submitted following documents.
1.Application form
2.Pasport copies
3.Salary certificate from my company
4. residence Allotment letter from company ( i have family residence)
If you have not family status and you do not have family residance , so you have to submit Rent contracrt.
thats all. no worries, if your salary is more than 5k , then you can get family visit visa easily. Best of luck
Sorry, please read "there are no side roads."
Yes, it is mandatory and there are side roads. If any of the agents "promise" to help you out through other means, they are not telling the truth and you will be a loser in the end.
