Nice to see a PC enthusiast forum in Qatar. I am reluctantly selling my RIG which I built about 2 years ago. It still has savage power (tri-fire ATI) and able to play all games on max settings:
Case: Lian Li PC-P80R Armorsuit (RED ATI Spider Edition). Pls look this up on the internet, it is a beautiful and very large case with amazing expandibility and great looks (red anodized aluminium with a really nice spider ATI glass cutout on the side) This case costs almost QAR 2,500!!!
- RAM 12GB Triple Channel DDR3 (2000MHZ) super fast RAM
- MOTHERBOARD: EVGA X58 Classified Edition
- Processor: Core i7 920 (special binned version) runs stable at 4.3Ghz with only 1.25V (I paid USD800 just for this processor as it was hand picked to overclock at lowest voltage) Ususally very lucky to get to 4.3Ghz and require at least 1.35V....
- GRAPHICS: 1 x Radeon 5970 2GB (Dual GPU) PLUS 1 x AMD Radeon 5870 Eyefinity 6 Edition 2GB card (3 GPUs in total running in Tri-fire). Even though the 5970 ihas been released a while back it is still one of the most powerful and capable GPUs on the market - still selling for clise to USD 500 on ebay. The Eyefinity card is a special edition 5870 with 2GB GDDR5 and able to plug in 6 monitors in the same card! Very rare to find. Running these 3 GPUs in parallel means that this system has a very fast GPU subsystem capable of running all of todays latest games at full settings...
- HArd Drives: 2 x 60GB OCZ Vertex SSD (solid state drives) that can be run in RAID 0, 1 x 120GB OCZ Vertex 3 SSD MAx IOPS Version (one of the fastest SSDs on the market for the Operating System), 1TB 7200rpm Enterprise drive (5 years warranty, made for 24/7 use, will not fail like usual 1TB drives and is twice as expensive...)
- USB 3.0 Add-on card (Buffalo) extra 2 USB 3.0 ports on the back of the card
- Noctua Tower Air cooler (one of the best on the market)
AS you can see this is a beast and cost me over QAR 21,000 to build....
Unfortunately I have to sell. My loss is your gain. Please email me on fc309/a-t/yahoo.co.uk if you are interested in making an offer (mobile: 77629000). I live in West Bay, and happy to show you the system....
