I agree with you--- completely. Let me give you another example, I was on duty a couple of months ago, and I came out of the hospital for dinner (since our canteen food is not really awesome), the moment I reached the restaurant, I received a beep, and I rushed because to the hospital. On my way back, I was caught by the camera for over speeding. The speed limit was 80 and I was at 92 (exactly as that). It was almosmt 11 30 at night and there was no traffic at all. I did not even realize I crossed the limit.

The next day metrash was swift enough to message me about 500 QR fine I had gotten. My colleagues asked me to get a paper signed by my head of department and the police would remit the fine (they do it normally in such cases).

I did not do so. It was because the violation was made not because I was doing my duty, but because I chose to come out for dinner. I quietly paid off the money without making any fuss about it.
