Thanks to people who responded - I was trying to avoid a discussion on the pro's and con's of sending a maid for a holiday - my maid has worked for me in Oman (2 years with holidays back to Phillipines) and now here in Qatar for nearly 2 years so I dont think she is not coming back (good salary, days off, treated with respect).
Anway - contract was not signed cos agency didnt provide me with one and did not realise this is needed. I went to Phillipine Labour Office today and they issued the Worker on leave documents (which they said acts as an exit permit from Phillipines)
I have heard that a contract needs to be shown on departure from phillipines as well - any know anything about this? and whether the contract needs to be lodged with the labour office here?
