its not the law of qatar... but the law of hotels which is subjected to change from hotel to hotel.
if you are local hire... which means you were here on visit visa and then hired by the hotel then your chances of gettin a release are more. If you were hired from you r home country then you have to complete 2 years contract to get a release which can also be denied if you are joining another hotel in qatar.
