wooh.. ask the japanese.. during the WORLD WAR II japanese was on the ran.. desperate for food they ate what they can grasp.. my aunt was unlucky they caught her and ate her internal organs fresh.. they ate it fresh coz no time to grill it..

my aunt went to fetch water then never came back.. her bodied was discovered few meters away from the well, internal organs missing..

when the japanese surendered all our tribes men wanted to get close so they can inflict revenge.. but the americans wouldnt let them.. but my uncle penetrated the american lines and  approached one japanese prisoner cut once ear then chewed - eat and yelled, " now i know whats like to eat human flesh".. he wanted to kill one but the americans wouldnt let him..

i can ask my uncle what it taste like, but he already pass away..
