..since you are definitely coming to Qatar, your intention on getting more idea on the cost of basic goods/necessities is the right step on planning your budget once you reach Qatar. However, I think you should focus more on how much your savings should be after 1 year, after 2 yrs, so on and so forth..instead of looking to buy electronic items/gadgets.
