I have Canon SX30IS with wide angle lens kit, filter kit ....The problem is at the height (I am talking about approx. 4500 metres above sea level), atmospheric pressure is very low. Last time my Canon camcorder kept shutting down automatically at 3500 mt. It was eating batteries very fast. I read the manual which says it won't work and will leak (liquid inside bursts at low pressure) at some height (Sorry, don't have it near me at the moment so can't give you exact details). Planning a trip again during Ramadan.
