Adey, just went thru'the first youtube clip. I do agree with your views about Indian parents dictating career paths of their children, however many things in India are cultural and hard to explain. Some random info :
1. The CBSE eductaion system has added 'Çhinese' as a third language.
2. Indian government has made education free for girls upto secondary level.
