Not sure how many that view this thread know about Air-Fuel Bombs, but they are simple and devastating. The components to make them are likely built in every country, and the fuel to make them work is common knowledge to most college chemistry majors. This would be the best weapon that Iran could use without violating any Nuclear treaties.

The problem with the Air-Fuel type bombs is that they are heavy, and the planes that are needed to drop them are slow moving targets. Best bet you send up a huge run when no one is looking drop them and turn and run. Downside, US made Isreali fighter jets, and surface to air missiles will take out the bombers after the first run. They will also shoot down just about every jet that leaves an Iranian airtport. I think the US and Isreal would be best served to let Iran work through the UN process. Worst case scenario they make a small device and it works. This isn't WWII, Iran does not have a third Reich, or any significant infrastructure. They are land locked with something like 20 US airfields within bombing distance, and who knows how many surface to air launch sites on land and from ships. It is like Chess we have all the advantages, so taking our time a being patient seems like the best strategy. Just my opinion, I do not claim to be an expert, just thoughts...
