Please keep in mind that the Bid is for 2022 and Qatar has 12 years to get ready for this great event.. you can simply expect amazing !!
There is no dearth of money with Qatar govt.
Excellent Metro Network, Dedicated Bus Routes, Shopping Malls, Hotels, Luxury Villas/Apartments, Causeway to Bahrain, NDIA, Energy City, some other man-made Islands, Many Waterfront Projects, Stadia, Five Star Hospitals, Health Clinics, Heart of Doha, GCC metro rail network which will connect Doha with Dubai/Bahrain where the tourist can enjoy like any western country..and many more projects.
Regarding high temperature in Qatar, it not due to any artificial reason..but it's all about mother nature.
Teams can play matches and spectators can view & enjoy the matches safely in a controlled temperature.
As far as outings are concerned, if the tourist can visit some places with minus (-)15 degree just to enjoy the nature then they can give a try to 40-45 degree temp. tooo.
Afterall the residents of Qatar are also human beings like the residents of Australia, Germany, South Africa etc.. millions of expatriates and Qataris are living in Qatar and also go for outings even in this summer, we also go for shopping.. we also go to beaches..pools, etc.
On the other hand, World Cup is an international event, which belongs to the World and not only to certain Countries with colder climate.
There are millions of die-hard fans of Football in this part of world (GCC) and the natives of these countries have every right to host this great event. If FIFA or other countries are so much concerned about the Climate of Qatar, why don't they propose to organize it in Winters as a very special case for this region, in order to appreciate the overwhelming support FIFA has been receiving from this region for many many years.
It's not about weather.. it's about if you really support Qatar's bid or any non-Qatari bid. 'Weather' should not be the sole reason to disqualify Qatar !!
Also, I am failed to understand as to why don't people take this bid positively, as the special attention of international media due to FIFA 2022 may compell the govt. to consider more labor reforms and improve the overall living standard of any ordinary resident.
