There aren't many things to do in Doha. It's a small country in the first place and there isnt much of a night life. If you stop comparing life here with life back home it gets better. It is safe though, and the malls are huge and good. Other than that, it helps if you already have friends here. Communication is a problem sometimes, but if you just hang in for the first couple of months, the rest is easier.
