Yeah it seems perfectly logical to make a comparison between a dictatorship and a nation that is supposed to be a free nation that respects individual rights. Furthermore, what kind of stupid advice for those people to just "leave" if they don't like it? Some of these people are 3rd generation immigrants and have no other citizenship, where the hell are they supposed to go? The reason they immigrated was because of oppressive dictatorships back home, a nation like France is not supposed to be imposing the kind of laws one would expect from a nation like Saudi Arabia and others in the Middle East.
