AbuAmerican, I agree with the approach you suggested with your sons. This is a perfect solution to deal with our kids. However, in case of a maid, things become slightly different. I don't think maid should lose her job just because somebody told her sponsor something about her. She could be innocent.

If one is not very human, the simple solution is to fire the maid and get a new one. But if you don't want to punish her for something which she might have not done, you should find the truth.

Also, being Muslims we have a duty to stop our Muslim brothers and sisters not to indulge in any activity which is sinful and illegal.

It would be interesting to know what others think that they would do if they were in the similar situation as KnockKnock is.
