....or call it "shower " so heavy rains in the good old days … I remember on the road from dukhan (the old one) the showers were soo immense the desert was latterly turned in to paradise for at least 3 months after, the lower lands (in depth of 2-3 meters)were covered with water for 2 months after at least. Every one crossing by thought there were rivers on both sides of the road for the length of the road heading to Shahania (camel race track)….
