Yes I will join in. What a fantastic month that was. We had the torch relay visit Dukhan on 29th Nov 2006. Due to the heavy rain we had to abandon most of our plans but it was still a brilliant day, the children were so excited. The on 8th Dec we went on a school trip to the Khalifa stadium. The rain didn't dampen anyones enjoyment and the gift shop was much loved by the kids. Who could forget the opening ceremony and the horse almost slipping. I wish I had been there. I had only been in Qatar a few months but felt so proud to be here and I wanted it to go well for them. I know that they probably were not so pleased with the rain but I loved it. I wish we could have another winter like that!
