I think the issue of whether or not she can get a job does matter if it they are depending on having a dual-income while living here.

In theory, she can work here. . .but more and more frequently expats are being hired and are then having their work permits denied due to Qatarization. If my family would be needing two incomes (and uzee's may or may not) then I'd certainly want to know about Qatarization before coming over here.
