The "basic salary" is only slightly higher than my current salary. All the allowances on top of that, though, essentially double what I make. However, I imagine I'll be making use of these allowances to offset the higher cost of living? I do pay for my apartment currently but my car in the US is paid off. I'll have to rent a car each month in Doha (or pay for drivers) but not pay rent. The company does provide travel allowance of $500USD per month. Thanks!
